Maker Faire Africa (Workshop)

There were like 6 different workshops going on. I went for the ‘Light Up Your Gele’ workshop.

The basic idea of the thing was putting LED into clothing. There was conductive thread to sew the lights together to the battery. There were different colours and types of LED.
There was even conductive hair attachment to light up your hair. The materials are sold in Lagos (thankfully). I was wondering where I would buy.
It was fun sha. THey gave us tea and coffee. Then they bought snacks(meat pie). Then they brought food. (Rice and chicken from Sweet Sensation). Then they gave us drinks and it was a free workshop oh. We didn’t pay anything. If it was a nigerian that organized that thing now na so hunger go finish person.
A maker bot is a really cool printer. It prints 3D objects.
